'''Yahk''' {{IPAc-en|ˈ|j|æ|k}} is an unincorporated [hamlet](/source/hamlet_(place)) in southeastern [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), [Canada](/source/Canada), just north of the Canada-U.S. border.<ref>{{BCGNIS|24766|Yahk (community)}}</ref> [Yahk Provincial Park](/source/Yahk_Provincial_Park) borders the village to the south. Yahk is located on the [Moyie River](/source/Moyie_River).

[CBC Television](/source/CBC_Television) talk show ''[The Hour](/source/The_Hour_(Canadian_TV_series))'' taped a live episode in Yahk on February 9, 2006. The show was there in part because of Kyle MacDonald, the [blog](/source/blog)ger behind [one red paperclip](/source/one_red_paperclip), who said in an interview with CBC News he would go anywhere to trade "except Yahk, British Columbia".<ref>[https://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com/2005/12/one-trip-to-yahk.html One Red Paper Clip]</ref> He eventually relented with the catch that CBC News had to do a show from Yahk.
