***Xylem Tube EP*** is an [extended play](/source/Extended_play) record by the [electronic music](/source/Electronic_music) artist and producer [Aphex Twin](/source/Aphex_Twin). It was released in June 1992 through the Belgian label [R&S Records](/source/R%26S_Records). All the songs on this EP can be found on the 1994 compilation of early Aphex Twin material *[Classics](/source/Classics_(Aphex_Twin_album))*. The EP consists of four [acid techno](/source/Acid_techno) tracks, including "Polynomial-C" which features complex [arpeggiation](/source/Arpeggio), and "Tamphex", a hardcore techno track featuring a looping sample of a [Tampax](/source/Tampax) television advert.

This was the first Aphex Twin release to feature his signature logo, designed by Paul Nicholson.[1]
