**Goh Kiat Chun** ([Chinese](/source/Chinese_language): 吳吉尊, born 10 October 1979), known as **Wu Chun** (Chinese: 吳尊; pinyin: *Wú Zūn*), is a [Bruneian](/source/Bruneian_Malays) singer, actor, and entrepreneur. He was a founding member of [Fahrenheit](/source/Fahrenheit_(Taiwanese_band)), a [Taiwanese](/source/Taiwanese_people) [Mandopop](/source/Mandopop) [vocal quartet](/source/Quartet) [boy band](/source/Boy_band). He left the group in June 2011. Wu has appeared in numerous Taiwanese television series including *[Tokyo Juliet](/source/Tokyo_Juliet_(TV_series))*, *[Hanazakarino Kimitachihe](/source/Hanazakarino_Kimitachihe)*, *[Romantic Princess](/source/Romantic_Princess)*, *[Hot Shot](/source/Hot_Shot_(TV_series))*, *[Sunny Girl](/source/Sunny_Girl),* and [*The* *Kindaichi Case Files*](/source/The_Kindaichi_Case_Files) (2012–13). His film roles include *[The Butterfly Lovers](/source/The_Butterfly_Lovers_(2008_film))* (2008) and *[Lady of the Dynasty](/source/Lady_of_the_Dynasty)*. He maintains a presence on [Sina Weibo](/source/Weibo).[1]

In 2014, Wu participated in the [reality television](/source/Reality_television) program *[Dad is Back](/source/Dad_Is_Back)* with his daughter. He appeared in the Chinese drama *[Martial Universe](/source/Martial_Universe)* in 2018 and was later featured in the reality show *The Best Time*, alongside his father, Wu Jing Tian. In early 2020, he appeared in the reality series *Before Wedding*, which was filmed in Brunei. That year, a wax figure of Wu Chun was unveiled at [Madame Tussauds](/source/Madame_Tussauds_Shanghai) in [Shanghai](/source/Shanghai). Since 2019, he has been a brand ambassador for [BOSS](/source/Hugo_Boss) Eyewear.[2]

## Early life and education

Wu Chun was born into a family of Chinese descent, with ancestral roots in [Lieyu](/source/Lieyu), [Kinmen](/source/Kinmen), [Fujian](/source/Fujian), in China. Wu's father, Goh Kim Tian, is a real estate investor. His family also owns a car agency and maintains ties to the [royal family of Brunei](/source/House_of_Bolkiah).[5][6]

He studied at [Chung Hwa Middle School](/source/Chung_Hwa_Middle_School%2C_Bandar_Seri_Begawan) in [Bandar Seri Begawan](/source/Bandar_Seri_Begawan), Brunei. In 1997, he joined the Foundation Studies program at [Trinity College, Melbourne](/source/Trinity_College%2C_Melbourne), before continuing his studies at the [Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology](/source/Royal_Melbourne_Institute_of_Technology) in [Melbourne](/source/Melbourne), where he earned a bachelor's degree in [Business Administration](/source/Business_administration).[7]

He represented [Brunei in national basketball competitions](/source/Brunei_men's_national_basketball_team).[8]

Before joining [Fahrenheit](/source/Fahrenheit_(Taiwanese_band)), Wu worked as a model for Yilin in [Taiwan](/source/Taiwan) and Diva Models in Singapore. He is the managing director of Fitness Zone, a health club in Brunei, and has had business ventures in several countries, including the United States and China.[9]

## Career

As a model, Wu appeared on magazine covers including *[Esquire](/source/Esquire_(magazine))*, *[Elle](/source/Elle_(magazine))*, *[Men](/source/Men_(magazine))*, and *[GQ](/source/GQ)*.[10][11]

Wu’s ventures in Brunei's fitness and health industry include Bake Culture, The Energy Kitchen, Fitness Zone,[12] and Women's Hair Salon. In China, he has been a director of television advertisements for [InterContinental Hotels](/source/InterContinental). He has been involved in commercial endorsements and charitable activities.[13]

He received multiple honors throughout his career, including the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2008), the CQE Geneva QC Total Quality Management Model Award (2012), and an APEA Corporate Social Responsibility Award (2013). In 2015, [Hassanal Bolkiah](/source/Hassanal_Bolkiah), the King of Brunei, presented Wu with an Excellent Youth Award.[14]

Wu was chosen to be an ambassador for the Brunei Anti-Narcotics Drug Association in 2012. In 2014, he became the international brand ambassador of [Royal Brunei Airlines](/source/Royal_Brunei_Airlines)[15][16][17] and a Taiwan tourism ambassador.[18]

In 2018, Wu Chun became the Goodwill Ambassador for Dementia Brunei, an advocacy organization dedicated to the early detection and prevention of dementia through the promotion of healthy lifestyles.[19] Fitness Zone also became an advocate, conducting monthly talks for the public. That year, he also became an ambassador for Legoland China.[20]

## Personal life

Wu Chun and his family live in Brunei.[21][22][23] Wu is the nephew of [Legislative Council of Brunei](/source/Legislative_Council_of_Brunei) MP [Goh King Chin](/source/Goh_King_Chin).[24] Wu married Lin Liying in 2004. Their marriage was first disclosed publicly in 2013 and reconfirmed in 2019.[25] Together, Wu and Lin have two children, a daughter named Neinei and a son named Max.[25][26] They held a delayed wedding ceremony as a part of the Chinese variety show *Before Wedding*, which first aired in March 2020 on [Mango TV](/source/Mango_TV).[27][28]

Wu's mother died of cancer in 2002.[29]
