Emo](/source/E._W._Emo) and starring [Magda Schneider](/source/Magda_Schneider), [Johannes Riemann](/source/Johannes_Riemann), and [Trude Berliner](/source/Trude_Berliner).[1] The film was shot at the [Staaken Studios](/source/Staaken_Studios) in [Berlin](/source/Berlin) with sets designed by the [art directors](/source/Art_director) [Robert Neppach](/source/Robert_Neppach) and [Erwin Scharf](/source/Erwin_Scharf_(art_director)).[2] It was remade in Italian the same year as *[The Telephone Operator](/source/The_Telephone_Operator_(1932_film))*. In 1934 it was remade as a British film *[Give Her a Ring](/source/Give_Her_a_Ring)*.

## Synopsis

Charmed by one of the callers she speaks to, a [telephone operator](/source/Switchboard_operator) arranges a rendezvous with him. Unfortunately it is at the same place where her boss is also having a secret assignation.
