# Workman Rocks

**Workman Rocks** is a group of rocks in the northeast part of [Darbel Bay](/source/Darbel_Bay) just westward of [Panther Cliff](/source/Panther_Cliff) on the southwest coast of [Stresher Peninsula](/source/Stresher_Peninsula), [Graham Land](/source/Graham_Land) in Antarctica. Photographed by the [Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition](/source/Falkland_Islands_and_Dependencies_Aerial_Survey_Expedition) (FIDASE) in 1956–57. Named by the [United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee](/source/United_Kingdom_Antarctic_Place-Names_Committee) (UK-APC) in 1960 for [Everley J. Workman](/source/Everley_J._Workman), American physicist who has investigated the electrical properties of ice.
