The [Cobbinshaw railway station](/source/Cobbinshaw_railway_station) on the [Caledonian Railway](/source/Caledonian_Railway)'s Edinburgh to [Carstairs](/source/Carstairs_railway_station) Line, was sited close to Woolfords. The station was located north of [Auchengray railway station](/source/Auchengray_railway_station).
