# Wolf Kroeger

**Wolf Kroeger** is a [German](/source/Germany)-[Canadian](/source/Canada) production designer and art director, most noted as a three-time [Genie Award](/source/Genie_Award) winner for [Best Art Direction/Production Design](/source/Canadian_Screen_Award_for_Best_Art_Direction%2FProduction_Design). He won the award at the [29th Canadian Film Awards](/source/29th_Canadian_Film_Awards) in 1978 for *[In Praise of Older Women](/source/In_Praise_of_Older_Women_(1978_film))*,[1] at the [6th Genie Awards](/source/6th_Genie_Awards) in 1985 for *[The Bay Boy](/source/The_Bay_Boy)*,[2] and at the [14th Genie Awards](/source/14th_Genie_Awards) in 1993 for *[Shadow of the Wolf](/source/Shadow_of_the_Wolf)*.[3]

He was also a nominee in the same category at the [1st Genie Awards](/source/1st_Genie_Awards) in 1980 for *[It Rained All Night the Day I Left](/source/It_Rained_All_Night_the_Day_I_Left)*,[4] and a [British Academy Film Award](/source/British_Academy_Film_Award) nominee for [Best Production Design](/source/BAFTA_Award_for_Best_Production_Design) at the [46th British Academy Film Awards](/source/46th_British_Academy_Film_Awards) in 1993 for *[The Last of the Mohicans](/source/The_Last_of_the_Mohicans_(1992_film))*.[5]
