# William Wignall

**William Harold Wignall** (24 December 1908 – 1 June 1982) was an [English](/source/English_people) [first-class cricketer](/source/First-class_cricket) active 1932–38 who played for [Middlesex](/source/Middlesex_County_Cricket_Club) and [Marylebone Cricket Club](/source/Marylebone_Cricket_Club) (MCC). He was born in [Harrow](/source/Harrow,_London) and died in [Northwick Park](/source/Northwick_Park). He played in six first-class matches as a right-handed [batsman](/source/Batting_(cricket)), scoring 152 [runs](/source/Run_(cricket)) with a highest score of 72 and held four [catches](/source/Caught).[1]
