Rt Rev Bishop ''' William Frank Percival Chadwick ''' (27 February 1905<ref name="death">''England & Wales, Civil Registration Death Index, 1916–2007''</ref> – 12 February 1991) was [Bishop of Barking](/source/Bishop_of_Barking) from 1959 to 1975.

Born in [Pudsey](/source/Pudsey), Yorkshire,<ref name="1911census">''1911 England Census''</ref> he was educated at [Wadham College, Oxford](/source/Wadham_College%2C_Oxford)<ref>[Who's Who](/source/Who's_Who)1970 London, [A & C Black](/source/A_%26_C_Black),1971 {{ISBN|0-7136-1140-5}}</ref> and studied for [ordination](/source/ordination) at [Wycliffe Hall, Oxford](/source/Wycliffe_Hall%2C_Oxford) before a [curacy](/source/Curate) in [St Helen's](/source/St_Helens%2C_Merseyside).  He was then successively [Vicar](/source/Vicar) of [Widnes](/source/Widnes), [Crouch End](/source/Crouch_End) and [Barking](/source/Barking%2C_London).  In 1959, he was appointed [Suffragan Bishop of Barking](/source/Bishop_of_Barking) in the [Diocese of Chelmsford](/source/Diocese_of_Chelmsford),<ref>''[The Times](/source/The_Times)'', Tuesday, 10 February 1959; p. 8; Issue 54381; col A  ''Bishop of Barking Nominated Canon W. F. P. Chadwick''</ref><ref>{{London Gazette|issue=41678|supp=y|page=2332|date=10 April 1959}}</ref> where he remained until his retirement to [Long Melford](/source/Long_Melford) in 1975. He died in [Sudbury, Suffolk](/source/Sudbury%2C_Suffolk) in 1991.
