==Biography==
Duschinsky was born in [Strasnitz](/source/Stra%C5%A1nice), [Moravia](/source/Margraviate_of_Moravia), on 6 May 1860. He attended the [gymnasium](/source/Gymnasium_(Germany)) in Vienna, and afterward studied [Romanic](/source/Romance_studies) and [Germanic philology](/source/Germanic_philology) at the [Universities of Vienna](/source/University_of_Vienna) and [Paris](/source/University_of_Paris). In 1892 he became professor at the {{ill|Oberrealschule|de}} in the [seventh district](/source/Neubau) of Vienna.

Besides numerous monographs, he published a number of essays in the ''Archiv für neuere Sprachen und Literatur'', the ''Zeitschrift für österreichische Gymnasien für das Realschulwesen'', and the journal ''Österreichische Mittelschule''.{{r|onb}}
