**Wilfried Stephane Singo** (born 25 December 2000) is an Ivorian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) for [Süper Lig](/source/S%C3%BCper_Lig) club [Galatasaray](/source/Galatasaray_S.K._(football)) and the [Ivory Coast national team](/source/Ivory_Coast_national_football_team).

## Club career

### Early career

A youth product of [Denguélé](/source/AS_Dengu%C3%A9l%C3%A9), Singo joined [Torino](/source/Torino_FC) in the summer of 2019 where he was assigned to the [under-19 squad](/source/Torino_F.C._Primavera) coached by Federico Coppitelli.[1] Initially deployed as a centre back, he was progressively shifted to the right full-back position over the course of the season.[2]

### Torino

On 1 August 2019, Singo made his senior debut with Torino under [Walter Mazzarri](/source/Walter_Mazzarri) in a 4–1 [UEFA Europa League](/source/UEFA_Europa_League) win over [Debreceni](/source/Debreceni_VSC).[3] He made his Serie A debut with the club on 27 June 2020, in a 4–2 away loss against [Cagliari](/source/Cagliari_Calcio).[4][5] In his first start for the club, he scored his first senior goal in the penultimate round of the season at home against [Roma](/source/AS_Roma).[6]

### Monaco

On 17 August 2023, Singo officially joined [Ligue 1](/source/Ligue_1) side [Monaco](/source/AS_Monaco_FC) for an undisclosed fee, signing a five-year contract with the Monégasque club.[7][8] On 22 October 2024, he recorded his first [Champions League](/source/2024%E2%80%9325_UEFA_Champions_League) goal and assist in a 5–1 victory over [Red Star Belgrade](/source/Red_Star_Belgrade).[9]

### Galatasaray

On 28 August 2025, Singo joined [Süper Lig](/source/S%C3%BCper_Lig) club [Galatasaray](/source/Galatasaray_S.K._(football)) on a five-year contract, for a reported fee of €30.8 million.[10][11]

## International career

Singo represented the [Ivory Coast U20s](/source/Ivory_Coast_national_under-20_football_team) for [2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualification](/source/2019_Africa_U-20_Cup_of_Nations_qualification) matches in 2018.[12] He debuted for the [Ivory Coast senior national team](/source/Ivory_Coast_national_football_team) in a friendly 2–1 win over [Burkina Faso](/source/Burkina_Faso_national_football_team) on 5 June 2021.[13]

Singo was a member of the Ivory Coast's squad for the [2020 Summer Olympics](/source/2020_Summer_Olympics), making four appearances as the nation reached the quarter-finals of the [Men's football tournament](/source/Football_at_the_2020_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_tournament).[14]

In December 2023, Singo was named in the Ivory Coast's squad for the [2023 Africa Cup of Nations](/source/2023_Africa_Cup_of_Nations) and ended up winning the tournament.[15][16][17]
