'''Whitefoot''' was, until 2022, an [electoral ward](/source/wards_of_the_United_Kingdom) in the [London Borough of Lewisham](/source/London_Borough_of_Lewisham).<ref>Lewisham Council https://lewisham.gov.uk/mayorandcouncil/elections/results/election-results-2019/whitefoot-by-election-2019-results</ref> Its area is {{convert|13|km|mi|abbr=on}} south-east of [Charing Cross](/source/Charing_Cross), and north of [Downham](/source/Downham%2C_London), south of Catford, west of [Grove Park](/source/Grove_Park%2C_Lewisham), and east of [Bellingham](/source/Bellingham%2C_London). The ward was named after Whitefoot Lane, which formed much of its northern boundary.

Part of the [South Eastern Main Line](/source/South_Eastern_Main_Line) between [Hither Green](/source/Hither_Green_railway_station) and [Grove Park](/source/Grove_Park_railway_station) stations marked the whole eastern edge of the ward. The western boundary followed some of the [Catford Loop Line](/source/Catford_Loop_Line), between [Bellingham](/source/Bellingham_railway_station) and [Beckenham Hill](/source/Beckenham_Hill_railway_station) stations, and small parts of two A-roads, South End Lane ([A2218](/source/A2218_road)) and Bromley Road ([A21](/source/A21_road_(England))).

The Whitefoot area is covered by two [postcode districts](/source/UK_postcodes), {{postcode|BR|1}} in the south and {{postcode|SE|6}} in the north; most of their common boundary follows Whitefoot Lane. [Hither Green Cemetery](/source/Hither_Green_Cemetery) is on the east side of the ward, and [Forster Memorial Park](/source/Forster_Memorial_Park) in the west.

One of the ward's councillors from 2010 to 2019 was [Labour](/source/Labour_Party_(UK))'s [Janet Daby](/source/Janet_Daby), who resigned to concentrate on her role as the [MP](/source/Member_of_Parliament_(United_Kingdom)) for [Lewisham East](/source/Lewisham_East_(UK_Parliament_constituency)), which includes Whitefoot in its boundaries.
