## Career

### 2019

Plaisier attended European Q-School in 2019, but never got further than the last 32, missing out on a Tour Card. He did then qualify as one of the Association Member qualifiers for the [2019 European Darts Open](/source/2019_European_Darts_Open) in [Leverkusen](/source/Leverkusen), Germany. He lost 6–3 to [James Wade](/source/James_Wade) in the second round.

He also qualified for the [2019 Dutch Darts Masters](/source/2019_Dutch_Darts_Masters), but he lost 6–1 to [Brendan Dolan](/source/Brendan_Dolan). A third European Tour qualification of 2019 was secured at the [2019 European Darts Matchplay](/source/2019_European_Darts_Matchplay), but [Jamie Hughes](/source/Jamie_Hughes_(darts_player)) beat him 6–5.

### 2022

Plaisier performed well at the [2022 German Darts Grand Prix](/source/2022_German_Darts_Grand_Prix), beating [Jim Williams](/source/Jim_Williams_(darts_player)), [Joe Cullen](/source/Joe_Cullen_(darts_player)) and [Dirk van Duijvenbode](/source/Dirk_van_Duijvenbode) to reach the quarter-final stage, where he was beaten in a deciding leg by the tournament's eventual winner, [Luke Humphries](/source/Luke_Humphries).[2][3][4]

Plaiser won the 2022 Six Nations Charity Singles beating [Scott Taylor](/source/Scott_Taylor_(darts_player)) in the final 5–4.[5]

Plaisier won the [2022 World Masters](/source/2022_World_Masters_(darts)), defeating Barry Copeland 7–2 in the final. He became the first Dutch player to win the event since [Michael van Gerwen](/source/Michael_van_Gerwen) in [2006](/source/2006_World_Masters_(darts)).[6][7]

### 2023

Plaisier qualified for the [2023 German Darts Open](/source/2023_German_Darts_Open). In the tournament he defeated [George Killington](/source/George_Killington) 6–4 in the first round, [Ross Smith](/source/Ross_Smith_(darts_player)) 6–2 in the second round, [Luke Humphries](/source/Luke_Humphries) 6–5 in the third round and [Brian Raman](/source/Brian_Raman) 6–3 in the quarters. [Stephen Bunting](/source/Stephen_Bunting) won the semi final 7–6.[8]

### 2024

Plaisier competed in the [2024 PDC Challenge Tour series](/source/2024_PDC_Challenge_Tour_series), the secondary tier of the [2024 PDC Pro Tour](/source/2024_PDC_Pro_Tour). He reached the final of [Challenge Tour 10 (CT10)](/source/2024_PDC_Challenge_Tour_series#Challenge_Tour_10), being whitewashed 5–0 by Lee Cocks.[9][10] Plaisier then reached the final in back to back events at [Challenge Tours 15](/source/2024_PDC_Challenge_Tour_series#Challenge_Tour_15)[11] and [16](/source/2024_PDC_Challenge_Tour_series#Challenge_Tour_16). Plaisier won the former, defeating Damian Mol 5–4 in a deciding leg and lost the latter final 5–3 to [Alexander Merkx](/source/Alexander_Merkx).[12] Plaisier reached another final at [event 19](/source/2024_PDC_Challenge_Tour_series#Challenge_Tour_19), defeating Lee Cocks 5–3 in the final to win his fourth Challenge Tour event in his career.[13]

Plaisier received call–ups for [2024 PDC Players Championship series](/source/2024_PDC_Players_Championship_series) events filling in as a reserve for an absent tour card holder virtue of his ranking on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit. Plaisier reached the final at events [13](/source/2024_PDC_Players_Championship_series#Players_Championship_13), [14](/source/2024_PDC_Players_Championship_series#Players_Championship_14) and [28](/source/2024_PDC_Players_Championship_series#Players_Championship_28).[14] At PC13 Plaisier lost the final to [Ross Smith](/source/Ross_Smith_(darts_player)) 8–7.[15][16] At PC14 he lost the final to [Jonny Clayton](/source/Jonny_Clayton) 8–5.[17] At PC28 Plaisier defeated [Josh Rock](/source/Josh_Rock) 8–7 in the final, surviving six missed match darts from Rock. Plaisier finished second in the 2024 PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit which granted him a two-year [PDC Tour Card](/source/PDC_Tour_Card) for the first time in his career.[20]

In the [World Darts Federation](/source/World_Darts_Federation) (WDF), Plaisier retained the [World Masters](/source/World_Masters_(darts)) title that he won in [2022](/source/2022_World_Masters_(darts)) with a 7–3 win over Kai Gotthardt in the final.[21]
