**Wenne** is a river of [North Rhine-Westphalia](/source/North_Rhine-Westphalia), [Germany](/source/Germany). The river springs in a forest area near [Obringhausen](/source/Obringhausen).

It flows through the villages of [Niederberndorf](/source/Niederberndorf), [Menkhausen](/source/Menkhausen), [Grimminghausen (Schmallenberg)](/source/Grimminghausen_(Schmallenberg)), Lochtrop, Frielinghausen, [Bremke](/source/Bremke_(Eslohe)), Wenholthausen and Berge before it flows into the [Ruhr](/source/Ruhr_(river)) on the left at Wennemen at 234 m above sea level.
