# Wegscheid

**Wegscheid** (ˈveːkʃaɪt) is a [municipality](/source/Municipalities_of_Germany) in the [district of Passau](/source/Passau_(district)) in [Bavaria](/source/Bavaria) in [Germany](/source/Germany).

In November 1936, [Fritz Wächtler](/source/Fritz_W%C3%A4chtler) visited the school.[2]

In January 1939, when the [Adalbert-Stifter](/source/Adalbert_Stifter) school was dedicated, *Kreisleiter* Krenn joined the guests of honor.[3]
