# Wayne Pretty

**Donald Wayne Pretty** (born June 11, 1936) is a Canadian [rower](/source/Rowing_(sport)) who competed in the [1956 Summer Olympics](/source/1956_Summer_Olympics) and in the [1964 Summer Olympics](/source/1964_Summer_Olympics).

In 1956 he was a crew member of the Canadian boat, winning the silver medal in the eights event.[1] He was inducted to the [British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame](/source/British_Columbia_Sports_Hall_of_Fame) along with the rest of the 1956 UBC VRC Eights team in 1976.[2]

Eight years later he finished ninth with the Canadian boat in the [eight competition](/source/Rowing_at_the_1964_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_eight).[1]
