The Watkins 33 is a recreational [keelboat](/source/keelboat), built predominantly of [fiberglass](/source/fiberglass), with wood trim. It has a [masthead sloop](/source/masthead_sloop) rig, a [raked stem](/source/raked_stem), a reverse transom, a [skeg](/source/skeg)-mounted [rudder](/source/rudder) controlled by a [wheel](/source/Ship's_wheel) and a fixed fin [keel](/source/keel).
