"**Waters of Nazareth**" is the debut single by French [electronic music](/source/Electronic_music) duo [Justice](/source/Justice_(band)), released on 14 September 2005.

## History

The Waters of Nazareth single was first released as a [twelve-inch vinyl](/source/Twelve-inch_vinyl) with a demo version of "Let There Be Light" and "Carpates".[1] A second release of both a 12" and [CD single](/source/CD_single) includes remixes by [DJ Funk](/source/DJ_Funk), [Erol Alkan](/source/Erol_Alkan), and Justice featuring [Feadz](/source/Feadz).

"Waters of Nazareth" and a finished version of "Let There Be Light" later appeared on their 2007 debut album, *[†](/source/Cross_(Justice_album))*.[a]

## In popular culture

The song is featured on the ElectroChoc radio station on *[Grand Theft Auto IV](/source/Grand_Theft_Auto_IV)*. It was played in episode 5 of series 13 of *[Top Gear](/source/Top_Gear_(2002_TV_series))*, when [Jeremy Clarkson](/source/Jeremy_Clarkson), [Richard Hammond](/source/Richard_Hammond) and [James May](/source/James_May) drove three cheap rear wheel drive cars in an ice race in France. "Waters of Nazareth" also appears in [Travis Rice](/source/Travis_Rice)'s critically acclaimed snowboard film *[That's It, That's All](/source/That's_It%2C_That's_All)*, as well as in the 2016 film [*War Dogs*](/source/War_Dogs_(2016_film)). The song is featured in the reveal trailer for *[NHL 22](/source/NHL_22)*. The song is also featured, although fused with "[War](/source/War_(Edwin_Starr_song))" by [Edwin Starr](/source/Edwin_Starr), in *[DJ Hero 2](/source/DJ_Hero_2)*.
