'''Watamula''' is located at the westernmost point, [Westpunt](/source/Westpunt) of the Caribbean island of [Curaçao](/source/Cura%C3%A7ao) in the [Netherlands Antilles](/source/Netherlands_Antilles)

The name Watamula comes from the Dutch word ''Watermolen'' which means “water mill.”<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.duikersgids.nl/watamula |title=Watamula|website=Duikersgids|access-date=18 April 2021|language=nl}}</ref> The name refers to the two currents which meet 40 ft under [Cliff Villa Peninsula](/source/Cliff_Villa_Peninsula). Two currents stir the nutrients in the waters making it the premium diving location on the island.

On the north-most point of Watamula is a coral rock peninsula that is host to the powerful force of the waves that blow out of the porous tunnel system in the rocks like sea geysers.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.reishonger.nl/reistips/watamula-de-adem-van-curacao/ |title=De Adem van Curaçao|website=Reis Honger|access-date=18 April 2021|language=nl}}</ref>
