**Walter Sydney Sichel** (1855–1933) was an [English](/source/English_(people)) biographer and lawyer, the brother of [Edith Helen Sichel](/source/Edith_Helen_Sichel), of [German-Jewish](/source/German-Jewish) descent,[1] born in [London](/source/London%2C_England) and educated at [Harrow](/source/Harrow_School) and at [Balliol College, Oxford](/source/University_of_Oxford).

He studied law and was called to the [bar](/source/Bar_association) in 1879. He wrote two law books and made contributions to the reviews. Additionally, he wrote:

- *Bolingbroke* (1902)
