**Walid Dahrouj** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): وليد دحروج; born 1965) is a Lebanese former [footballer](/source/Association_football) who played as [striker](/source/Forward_(association_football)). He played nearly 20 years for [Safa](/source/Safa_SC), and represented [Lebanon](/source/Lebanon_national_football_team) internationally.

## Club career

Dahrouj started his career at [Ahli Saida](/source/Al_Ahli_Saida_SC), before moving to [Safa](/source/Safa_SC) in 1984.[1] In [1991–92](/source/1991%E2%80%9392_Lebanese_Premier_League) he was [Lebanese Premier League top goalscorer](/source/List_of_Lebanese_Premier_League_top_scorers) with 20 goals.[2] Dahrouj remained at Safa until his retirement in 2002.[1]

## International career

Dahrouj represented [Lebanon](/source/Lebanon_national_football_team) internationally during the 1990s, playing at the [1994 FIFA World Cup qualifiers](/source/1994_FIFA_World_Cup_qualification_(AFC)) and the [1998 Arab Nations Cup](/source/1998_Arab_Nations_Cup).[3]

## Personal life

Born in 1965, Dahrouj has two daughters: Majida (born 2002), named after his mother, and May (born 2006/2007).[1] He is a supporter of Spanish club [Real Madrid](/source/Real_Madrid_CF).[1]

As of 2015, Dahrouj was working at the [duty-free shop](/source/Duty-free_shop) of the [Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport](/source/Beirut%E2%80%93Rafic_Hariri_International_Airport) and living in his hometown [Shheem](/source/Shheem).[1]
