**Wajdi Kechrida** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): وجدي كشريدة; born 5 November 1995) is a professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [right-back](/source/Right-back). Born in France, he plays for the [Tunisia national team](/source/Tunisia_national_football_team).

## Club career

Kechrida made his professional debut for [Étoile Sportive du Sahel](/source/%C3%89toile_Sportive_du_Sahel) in a 3–0 [Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1](/source/Tunisian_Ligue_Professionnelle_1) win over [ES Zarzis](/source/ES_Zarzis) on 10 September 2016.[3]

On 31 July 2021 he was purchased by [U.S. Salernitana 1919](/source/U.S._Salernitana_1919),[4] strongly desired by Salernitana's manager Angelo Mariano Fabiani. He made his first appearance in the [Coppa Italia](/source/Coppa_Italia) match against [Reggina](/source/Reggina_1914), won 2-0 by Salernitana, and his debut in [Serie A](/source/Serie_A) in the first day of the season against [Bologna](/source/Bologna_F.C._1909).[5]

On 29 August 2022, Kechrida signed a two-year contract with [Atromitos](/source/Atromitos_F.C.) in Greece.[6]

## International career

Kechrida made his debut for the [Tunisia](/source/Tunisia_national_football_team) in a [2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification](/source/2019_Africa_Cup_of_Nations_qualification) 4–0 win over [Eswatini](/source/Eswatini_national_football_team) on 22 March 2019.[7]
