***WWF Forceable Entry*** is a soundtrack album by the [World Wrestling Federation](/source/WWE) (WWF, now known as World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE). Released on March 26, 2002 by [Columbia Records](/source/Columbia_Records), it features entrance music of WWE wrestlers re-recorded by various [hard rock](/source/Hard_rock) and [heavy metal](/source/Heavy_metal_music) artists and bands. The album was a commercial success, charting at number three on the US [*Billboard* 200](/source/Billboard_200).

It is also the last album released under the "WWF" name, as the company changed its name to "WWE" in May 2002 after a British court ruled in favor of the [World Wide Fund for Nature](/source/World_Wide_Fund_for_Nature) in the [WWF trademark dispute](/source/WWF_trademark_dispute).[1]

## Composition

Johnny Loftus of music website [AllMusic](/source/AllMusic) categorized *WWF Forceable Entry* as [alternative metal](/source/Alternative_metal), [post-grunge](/source/Post-grunge) and [rap metal](/source/Rap_metal).[2] The album features a number of [cover versions](/source/Cover_version) (including [Kid Rock](/source/Kid_Rock)'s cover of "[Legs](/source/Legs_(song))" by [ZZ Top](/source/ZZ_Top)) and [remixes](/source/Remix) (such as [Limp Bizkit](/source/Limp_Bizkit)'s "[Rollin'](/source/Rollin'_(Limp_Bizkit_song))" and [Marilyn Manson](/source/Marilyn_Manson_(band))'s "[The Beautiful People](/source/The_Beautiful_People_(song))"), as well as new tracks.[2][3] Some tracks are also new recordings of wrestlers' entrance themes, including [Drowning Pool](/source/Drowning_Pool)'s cover of [Motörhead](/source/Mot%C3%B6rhead)'s "The Game" ([Triple H](/source/Triple_H)) and [Disturbed](/source/Disturbed_(band))'s recording "Glass Shatters" ([Stone Cold Steve Austin](/source/Stone_Cold_Steve_Austin)).[2][3]

## Reception

### Commercial

*WWF Forceable Entry* was a commercial success. In the US, the album reached number three on the US [*Billboard* 200](/source/Billboard_200); in Canada, it reached number three on the [Canadian Albums Chart](/source/Canadian_Albums_Chart).[13] It was certified gold by the [Recording Industry Association of America](/source/Recording_Industry_Association_of_America), indicating sales of over 500,000 units.[14] The album sold over 145,000 copies in the US in its first week on sale.[15]

### Critical

Music website AllMusic awarded the album two out of five stars. Writer Johnny Loftus noted that *Forceable Entry* "will be most relevant to wrestling fans," but joked that "fans of heavy music...might seek this set out in the local sale bin."[2]
