Professional wrestling trios tag team championship

WWA World Trios Championship (Campeonato Mundial de Trios WWA) Details Promotion World Wrestling Association (WWA) Date established 1989 (abandoned between 1998 and 2013) Current champions Trio Fantasia (Super Muñeco, Super Pinocho and Super Raton) Date won December 14, 2013 Statistics First champions Zandokan, Khaos I and Sicodelico

The **WWA World Trios Championship** (*Campeonato Mundial de Trios WWA* in [Spanish](/source/Spanish_language)) is a six-man (or *trios*) [Tag Team](/source/Tag_Team) [Championship](/source/Championship_(professional_wrestling)) in the [Mexican](/source/Mexico) [lucha libre](/source/Lucha_libre) ([Professional wrestling](/source/Professional_wrestling)) [promotion](/source/Professional_wrestling_promotion) [World Wrestling Association](/source/World_Wrestling_Association) (WWA) in Mexico. It was first won by [Zandokan](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Zandokan&action=edit&redlink=1), [Khaos I](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Khaos_I&action=edit&redlink=1) and [Sicodelico](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sicodelico&action=edit&redlink=1) around 1989 and was defended throughout [Mexico](/source/Mexico) until it was abandoned in 1998.

As it was a professional wrestling championship, the championship was not won not by actual competition, but by a [scripted ending](/source/Kayfabe) to a match determined by the [bookers and match makers](/source/Booker_(professional_wrestling)).[a] On occasion the promotion declares a championship vacant, which means there is no champion at that point in time. This can either be due to a storyline,[b] or real life issues such as a champion suffering an injury being unable to defend the championship,[c] or leaving the company.[d]
