**WPJC** (88.3 [FM](/source/FM_broadcasting)) is an [EWTN](/source/EWTN)-affiliated [Catholic talk](/source/Christian_talk) [radio station](/source/Radio_station) licensed to [Pontiac, Illinois](/source/Pontiac%2C_Illinois), United States. The station is owned by 2820 Communications, Incorporated, and simulcasts its sister flagship station Catholic Spirit Radio 89.5 WSPI from [Normal, IL](/source/Normal%2C_IL).[2]

## History

The station began broadcasting in 2003, and was owned by [CSN International](/source/CSN_International), airing a Christian format.[3] In 2008, CSN International sold WPJC, along with a number of other stations, to [Calvary Radio Network](/source/Calvary_Radio_Network), Inc.[4][5] These stations were sold to [Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa](/source/Calvary_Chapel_Costa_Mesa) later that year.[6][7] In 2010, [Calvary Radio Network](/source/Calvary_Radio_Network) purchased WPJC back from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.[8]

In 2012, the station was sold to WPRR, Inc. for $80,000, and the station began airing a [progressive talk](/source/Progressive_talk) format, simulcasting AM 1680 [WPRR](/source/WPRR_(AM)) in [Grand Rapids, Michigan](/source/Grand_Rapids%2C_Michigan).[9][10][11]
