WJDM broadcasts during daytime hours only, from local sunrise to sunset to protect [WCKY](/source/WCKY_(AM)) in [Cincinnati](/source/Cincinnati), a [clear-channel station](/source/clear-channel_station) on the same frequency that can be heard in the New York City area after dark.
