***Voousia punctifer*** is a [moth](/source/Moth) in the family [Cossidae](/source/Cossidae), and the only species in the genus ***Voousia***. It is found on [Grenada](/source/Grenada), [Dominica](/source/Dominica), [St. Lucia](/source/St._Lucia) and [St. Vincent](/source/Saint_Vincent_(Saint_Vincent_and_the_Grenadines)).

## Etymology

The genus is named in honour of Prof. Dr. K . H . Voous.[1]
