Achim spent most of his professional career with [Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț](/source/CSM_Ceahl%C4%83ul_Piatra_Neam%C8%9B), for which he appeared in 162 [first division](/source/Liga_I) matches between 2008 and 2015. Among others, he also represented [FCSB](/source/FCSB) and Viitorul Constanța, where he won three domestic trophies combined.
