It is part of the glacial divide between [Evans Glacier](/source/Evans_Glacier_(Graham_Land)) to the north and [Punchbowl Glacier](/source/Punchbowl_Glacier) to the south.

Vishna Pass is located at {{coord|65|06|05|S|62|04|26|W|display=inline, title}}, which is 2.8&nbsp;km south of [Mount Bistre](/source/Mount_Bistre_(Antarctica)), 5.7&nbsp;km west of [Kamenov Spur](/source/Kamenov_Spur), and 4.75&nbsp;km north of [St. Angelariy Peak](/source/St._Angelariy_Peak) in [Metlichina Ridge](/source/Metlichina_Ridge).  [British](/source/United_Kingdom) mapping in 1974.
