**Vincent Marzello** (June 12, 1947[1] – March 31, 2020) was an American actor.

## Early life

Marzello trained at the [Guildhall School of Music and Drama](/source/Guildhall_School_of_Music_and_Drama) in London.[2]

## Career

Marzello was active on screen from 1976 in North America and Europe, his first role being in an episode of *[The Brothers](/source/The_Brothers_(1972_TV_series))*. Thereafter he appeared in productions that included *[The Spy Who Loved Me](/source/The_Spy_Who_Loved_Me_(film))*, *[Superman](/source/Superman_(1978_film))*, *[Never Say Never Again](/source/Never_Say_Never_Again)*, *[The Witches](/source/The_Witches_(1990_film))*, *[Taggart](/source/Taggart_(series))*, *[The House of Eliott](/source/The_House_of_Eliott)*, *[The Fragile Heart](/source/The_Fragile_Heart)*, *[Dalziel and Pascoe](/source/Dalziel_and_Pascoe_(TV_series))*, *[Little Britain](/source/Little_Britain_(sketch_show))*, *[Nuclear Secrets](/source/Nuclear_Secrets)* and *[Mile High](/source/Mile_High_(TV_series))*. ## Personal life

Marzello was married to actress [Lorelei King](/source/Lorelei_King). They lived in [London](/source/London).[6] During successful treatment for cancer in 2009, he was diagnosed with [early onset dementia](/source/Early_onset_dementia).[7]

Marzello died on March 31, 2020.[8][9][10] His ashes are interred in [Highgate Cemetery](/source/Highgate_Cemetery), near fellow actor, Sir [Ian Holm](/source/Ian_Holm).
