'''Vilhelm Lund''', sometimes credited as '''Wilhelm Lund''' (April 7, 1900 – January 7, 1982), was a [Norwegian](/source/Norwegians) actor.<ref>{{cite book |title=Hvem er hvem?, vol. 10 |date=1968 |publisher=Aschehoug |location=Oslo |page=395}}</ref><ref name="NTA">{{cite web |title=Vilhelm Lund |url=https://forest.nationaltheatret.no/Persons/Details/9c3d4ba4-055c-401b-940e-7dbc83ea6755 |website=National Theatret Arkiv |access-date=June 13, 2021}}</ref><ref>{{cite news |title=Lysninger |url=https://www.nb.no/nbsok/nb/d3dc6ff01a5775ff8248700ce9751375?index=5#8 |access-date=June 13, 2021 |work=Arbeiderbladet |issue=242 |date=October 18, 1946 |page=9}}</ref>

Lund was primarily a theater actor. After a study visit to Oxford in 1919 and preparatory studies, he made his theatrical debut in [Frank Wedekind](/source/Frank_Wedekind)'s 1891 drama ''[Spring Awakening](/source/Spring_Awakening_(play))''. He performed at the experimental [Intimate Theater](/source/Intimate_Theater) ({{langx|no|Intimteatret}}) in 1922, during the one season it was active.<ref>{{cite news |title=Vaarbrytning pa Intimteatret |url=https://www.nb.no/nbsok/nb/90199740bff873a4d209b8652cecfc19?index=2#0 |access-date=June 14, 2021 |work=Nationen |issue=90 |date=April 19, 1922 |page=3}}</ref> From 1924 to 1934 he was at the [Central Theater](/source/Centralteatret), the [Norwegian Theater](/source/Det_Norske_Teatret), and [Søilen Theater](/source/S%C3%B8ilen_Teater). After a pause from 1934 to 1945, he was again engaged with the Norwegian Theater in 1945.

Lund's film debut was in 1926 in [Rasmus Breistein](/source/Rasmus_Breistein)'s ''[Brudeferden i Hardanger](/source/Brudeferden_i_Hardanger)''. He appeared sporadically in films and on television until 1980, and he played twelve different roles altogether.

Around 1949, he took a break from the Norwegian Theater, during which he toured Europe with the dance troupe of the Indian dancer [Ram Gopal](/source/Ram_Gopal_(dancer)). Lund also ran a small farm for a year and spent time in London before appearing at various Norwegian theaters, including the [Rogaland Theater](/source/Rogaland_Teater), People's Theater, [Norwegian National Opera](/source/Norwegian_National_Opera_and_Ballet), and [NRK](/source/NRK)'s [Television Theater](/source/Fjernsynsteatret), where he remained for a time.<ref name="Solem">{{cite book |last1=Solem |first1=Arne |title=Studentene fra 1919 |date=1969 |publisher=Bokkomitéen for studentene fra 1919 |location=Oslo |page=108}}</ref> From 1964 to 1977 he performed several roles at the National Theater.<ref name="NTA"/>

Lund was married first to the actress [Dagmar Myhrvold](/source/Dagmar_Myhrvold) (1898–1972),<ref name="Solem"/> and then in 1934 to Kathleen Austin (1917–1957). His daughter Anne Mari (born 1929) published the travelogue ''Ferden til Shigaraki'' (Journey to Shigaraki).<ref>{{cite book |last1=Lévy |first1=Anne Marie |title=Ferden til Shigaraki |date=1986 |publisher=Cappelen |location=Oslo}}</ref> His second daughter, [Trini Lund](/source/Trini_Lund) (born 1951), became an actress. In 1963, Lund married Nancy Austin (1914–1990).
