# Vida Nsiah

**Vida Nsiah** (born 13 April 1976) is a retired female [track and field](/source/Track_and_field) sprinter and [hurdler](/source/100_metres_hurdles) from [Ghana](/source/Ghana). At the [1998 Commonwealth Games](/source/Athletics_at_the_1998_Commonwealth_Games) in [Kuala Lumpur](/source/Kuala_Lumpur) she finished fifth in the 100 metres and sixth in the 200 metres.[2]

Together with [Mavis Akoto](/source/Mavis_Akoto), [Monica Twum](/source/Monica_Twum) and [Vida Anim](/source/Vida_Anim) she holds the Ghanaian record in [4 x 100 metres relay](/source/4_x_100_metres_relay) with 43.19 seconds, achieved during the heats at the [2000 Summer Olympics](/source/2000_Summer_Olympics) in Sydney.[3]
