# Victoria Baranova

**Victoria Alekseyevna Tyumneva**, [née](/source/N%C3%A9e) **Baranova** (Russian: Виктория Алексеевна Тюмнева (Баранова); born 6 February 1990) is a retired Russian [track cyclist](/source/Track_cyclist).[2] At the [2012 Summer Olympics](/source/2012_Summer_Olympics), cycling's governing body, the UCI, confirmed that Baranova tested positive for a prohibited substance and was sent home from the Games.[3][4]
