# Vicky Hall

**Vicky Hall** (born 25 February 1977) is an English actress and nurse.[1] She was born in [Newcastle](/source/Newcastle_upon_Tyne), England. She trained in drama at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.[2]

Hall is best known for her character Lindsay in British [comedy-drama](/source/Comedy-drama) *[Teachers](/source/Teachers_(British_TV_series))*. She has also appeared in television series *[Hustle](/source/Hustle_(TV_series))*, *[Bodies](/source/Bodies_(2004_TV_series))*, *[Shameless](/source/Shameless_(British_TV_series))*, *[Holby City](/source/Holby_City)*, *[Bonekickers](/source/Bonekickers)*, *The Break*, *[Byker Grove](/source/Byker_Grove)*, *[Tracy Beaker Returns](/source/Tracy_Beaker_Returns)*, and *[Inside No. 9](/source/Inside_No._9)*, as well as *[Derek](/source/Derek_(TV_series))* in 2014, *[Casualty](/source/Casualty_(TV_series))* and CBBC series *[So Awkward](/source/So_Awkward)* in 2015 and *[Vera](/source/Vera_(TV_series))* in 2019.[citation needed] In 2019, inspired by her acting roles as a nurse, she enlisted and became a nurse at the [Alexandra Hospital](/source/Worcestershire_Acute_Hospitals_NHS_Trust) in [Redditch](/source/Redditch), [Worcestershire](/source/Worcestershire).[3] Then in 2022, she appeared in three episodes of the BBC soap opera *[Doctors](/source/Doctors_(2000_TV_series))* as [Lydia Palmer](/source/List_of_Doctors_characters_(2022)#Lydia_Palmer).[4]
