'''Vericon''' was an annual [science fiction convention](/source/science_fiction_convention) at [Harvard University](/source/Harvard_University), organized by the [Harvard–Radcliffe Science Fiction Association](/source/Harvard%E2%80%93Radcliffe_Science_Fiction_Association). Lasting over a three-day weekend, for the first nine years of its existence it took place on the last weekend of January; for 2010, however, it was moved to mid-March to accommodate changes in [Harvard College](/source/Harvard_College)'s academic calendar. Vericon was held most recently in 2016.

The convention featured [anime](/source/anime), [boardgame](/source/boardgame)s, [cosplay](/source/cosplay), [Human Chess](/source/Human_Chess), [dance](/source/dance)s, [LARPs](/source/live_action_role-playing_game), and [RPGs](/source/role-playing_game). The convention was unusual for a [college](/source/college) science fiction convention in that in addition to gaming, a number of prominent people involved in the genres of [science fiction](/source/science_fiction), [fantasy](/source/fantasy), [game design](/source/game_design), and [comics](/source/comics) were invited each year to host panels and readings.
