'''Vercorin''' is a [village](/source/village) in the [Swiss Alps](/source/Swiss_Alps), located in the canton of [Valais](/source/Valais). The village is situated in the central part of the canton near [Sierre](/source/Sierre), at a height of {{convert|1320|m}}, on a plateau overlooking the [Rhone](/source/Rhone) valley. It belongs to the municipality of [Chalais](/source/Chalais%2C_Switzerland).

In winter Vercorin is a ski resort and includes {{convert|35|km}} of prepared slopes on the [Crêt du Midi](/source/Cr%C3%AAt_du_Midi).

==Transportation==
