**Ventricular inversion** is a condition in which the anatomic [right ventricle](/source/Right_ventricle) of the [heart](/source/Heart) is on the left side of the [interventricular septum](/source/Interventricular_septum) and the anatomic [left ventricle](/source/Left_ventricle) is on the right.[1]
