***Ventilation: Da LP*** is the debut [studio album](/source/Studio_album) by the American rapper [Phife Dawg](/source/Phife_Dawg), released in 2000.[2][3] Though the album was not a commercial success, the singles "Bend Ova" and "[Flawless](/source/Flawless_(Phife_Dawg_song))" were minor hits. It was the only solo album released during Phife Dawg's lifetime.[4]

## Critical reception

*[The A.V. Club](/source/The_A.V._Club)* wrote: "Minor but far more charming, intimate, and memorable than Q-Tip's soulless [solo album](/source/Amplified_(Q-Tip_album)), *Ventilation* is as endearing as it is inconsequential."[5] [MTV](/source/MTV) deemed the album "brilliant but ignored."[6]
