The '''Venetian Triangular Castle'''   ({{langx|sq|Kalaja Trekëndore Venedikase}}) is a castle near [Butrint](/source/Butrint). The castle is located by the [Channel of Vivari](/source/Channel_of_Vivari) nearby [Butrint National Park](/source/Butrint_National_Park).

In 1572, during the wars between Venice and the [Ottomans](/source/Ottoman_Empire), the [acropolis of Butrint](/source/Venetian_Acropolis_Castle) was abandoned. This led to the creation of the Castle which was built in the 15th century by the [Venetians](/source/Republic_of_Venice). The castle was created to defend the [fish trap](/source/fish_trap)s, a very important source of food and income for the nearby settlement.
