**Valentino Gasparella** (born 30 June 1935) is a retired Italian track cyclist. He won a gold medal in the [team pursuit](/source/Cycling_at_the_1956_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_team_pursuit) at the [1956 Summer Olympics](/source/1956_Summer_Olympics) in [Melbourne](/source/Melbourne) (with [Antonio Domenicali](/source/Antonio_Domenicali), [Leandro Faggin](/source/Leandro_Faggin) and [Franco Gandini](/source/Franco_Gandini)).[1] In the 1000 m sprint he won the world title in 1958 and 1959, and two bronze medals: at the 1957 World Championships and [1960 Summer Olympics](/source/1960_Summer_Olympics).[2][3] In 1959 he won the International Champion of Champions sprint at [Herne Hill](/source/Herne_Hill) [velodrome](/source/Velodrome).
