Bratoev won bronze medals with the national team in the [2009 Men's European Volleyball Championship](/source/2009_Men's_European_Volleyball_Championship) and won [2010–11 CEV Champions League](/source/2010%E2%80%9311_CEV_Champions_League) with [Trentino](/source/Trentino_Volley).
