# Valborg Madslien

**Valborg Olive Engesæter Madslien** (born 1 July 1973) is a [Norwegian](/source/Norway) [ski-orienteering](/source/Ski-orienteering) [competitor](/source/Competition).

She competed at the 1994 [World Ski Orienteering Championships](/source/World_Ski_Orienteering_Championships) in [Val di Non](/source/Val_di_Non) and won a silver medal with the Norwegian relay team, which consisted of herself, [Anne Marit Korsvold](/source/Anne_Marit_Korsvold) and [Hilde Gjermundshaug Pedersen](/source/Hilde_Gjermundshaug_Pedersen).[1][2]

At the 1998 World Ski Orienteering Championships in [Windischgarsten](/source/Windischgarsten) she won a bronze medal with the Norwegian relay team, which consisted of herself, [Hanne Sletner](/source/Hanne_Sletner) and Hilde Gjermundshaug Pedersen.[1][3]

Madslien is four times Norwegian champion in ski orienteering (twice individual champion and twice on relay).[4] She was awarded the [Kongepokal](/source/Kongepokal) (King's Cup) trophy at the national championships in 1999.[5]

She resides in [Lillehammer](/source/Lillehammer).
