**Val-Fouzon** (French pronunciation: [\[val fuzɔ̃\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/French)) is a [commune](/source/Communes_of_France) in the [Indre](/source/Indre) [department](/source/Departments_of_France) of central [France](/source/France). The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 by merger of the former communes of [Varennes-sur-Fouzon](/source/Varennes-sur-Fouzon), [Parpeçay](/source/Parpe%C3%A7ay) and [Sainte-Cécile](/source/Sainte-C%C3%A9cile%2C_Indre).[3] It takes its name from the river [Fouzon](/source/Fouzon).
