**Vaiano** is a *[comune](/source/Comune)* (municipality) in the [Province of Prato](/source/Province_of_Prato) in the region of [Tuscany](/source/Tuscany) in [Italy](/source/Italy). It is located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of [Florence](/source/Florence) and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of [Prato](/source/Prato). It has 9,912 inhabitants.[1]
