The **Vacaville Museum** is a local history [museum](/source/Museum) located on Buck Avenue in [Vacaville, California](/source/Vacaville%2C_California).

## History

Construction of the Vacaville Museum began in 1981 after Eva Buck, the wife of [Frank H. Buck](/source/Frank_H._Buck), donated money and land for the museum.[1][2] It opened in 1984 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2009.[3] In 2015, public art project We Know Jack raised US$90,000 for the museum by auctioning 24 fibreglass rabbits.[4]
