# Upper Agryle

**Upper Agryle**, or **Agryle Kathyperthen** ([Ancient Greek](/source/Ancient_Greek_language): Ἀγρυλὴ καθύπερθεν), was a [deme](/source/Deme) of [ancient Attica](/source/Ancient_Attica), one of two demoi of [Agryle](/source/Agryle).

The site of Upper Agryle is located southwest of modern [Ardettos](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ardettos&action=edit&redlink=1).[1][2]
