**Uploders** is a small village in [Dorset](/source/Dorset), [England](/source/England). It consists mainly of houses, and has a pub, the *Crown*,[1] a Grade II [listed](/source/Listed_building) Methodist chapel [2] and a playing field. The [River Asker](/source/River_Asker) runs through the village. It is a [linear village](/source/Linear_village), surrounding the minor road between [Bridport](/source/Bridport) and [Askerswell](/source/Askerswell). It is around 0.5 miles (0.80 km) from [Loders](/source/Loders), and around 3 miles (4.8 km) from Bridport, the nearest town. The [A35](/source/A35_road) trunk road also passes by around 0.5 miles (0.80 km) south of the village.

There are several places of interest to visit, such as the [market town](/source/Market_town) of Bridport, the harbour at [West Bay](/source/West_Bay_(England)), the beaches along the [Jurassic Coast](/source/Jurassic_Coast), [Burton Bradstock](/source/Burton_Bradstock) and West Bay being the nearest, and the [Iron Age](/source/Iron_Age) [hill fort](/source/Hill_fort) of [Eggardon Hill](/source/Eggardon_Hill) Which is about 2 miles (3.2 km) To the east.
