'''''Up and Crumbling''''' is an [EP](/source/extended_play) released by the American [alternative rock](/source/alternative_rock) band [Gin Blossoms](/source/Gin_Blossoms) on October 8, 1991. It was released after the Gin Blossoms signed with [A&M Records](/source/A%26M_Records) and, while attempting to create a full-length album, ran into a creative drought during the recording sessions. According to the band's official website, the band recorded ''Up and Crumbling'' "on their own in hopes of rekindling the spark from ''[Dusted](/source/Dusted_(Gin_Blossoms_album))'' that had been missing from the recent recordings."<ref>The Gin Blossoms' official web site, [http://www.ginblossoms.net/band.php "Band"] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20040904170019/http://ginblossoms.net/band.php |date=2004-09-04 }}.</ref> "[Allison Road](/source/Allison_Road_(song))" was released as a single to promote the EP.<ref>{{cite AV media notes |url=https://www.discogs.com/release/4558035-Gin-Blossoms-Allison-Road/images |title=Allison Road Credits |type=liner notes |publisher=[A&M Records](/source/A%26M_Records) |id=7502173322 |access-date=March 16, 2025}}</ref>

The songs from this EP were remastered and included on the 2002 deluxe edition of the band's breakthrough album, ''[New Miserable Experience](/source/New_Miserable_Experience)''.
