'''''Until the Sun Explodes''''' is the upcoming fourth and final<ref name="rollingstone"/><ref name="x">{{Cite tweet |user=sublime |number=2036902279949758839|title=Sublime on X|date=March 25, 2026}}</ref> studio album by American ska punk band [Sublime](/source/Sublime_(band)). It is their first album in 30 years,<ref name="rollingstone">{{cite news|url=https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/sublime-new-album-until-the-sun-explodes-interview-1235537242/|title=Inside Sublime's ''Until the Sun Explodes'', Their First New Album Since 1996|work=[Rolling Stone](/source/Rolling_Stone)|first=Brian|last=Hiatt|date=March 25, 2026|access-date=March 25, 2026}}</ref> and their only album with singer and guitarist [Jakob Nowell](/source/Jakob_Nowell), replacing his father [Bradley](/source/Bradley_Nowell) who died in 1996, just prior to the release of [their self-titled third album](/source/Sublime_(album)). The album, set to release on June 12, 2026, is an epilogue, and the eponymous second single and penultimate track is the epilogue to the epilogue.<ref name="x"/>

== Production ==
In March 2025, Sublime announced they were working on a fourth album with [Travis Barker](/source/Travis_Barker) producing.<ref>{{Cite web |last=Hiatt |first=Brian |date=2025-03-26 |title=Sublime Are Working on Their First New Album Since 1996 -- With Help From Travis Barker |url=https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/sublime-new-album-jakob-nowell-travis-barker-biopic-1235303396/ |access-date=2026-03-26 |website=Rolling Stone |language=en-US}}</ref>

Jakob Nowell stated that although the self-titled album is the last Sublime record, this album is a tribute to the expansive works of the band and it is an acknowledgment for all that his father has done for him his entire life, and most importantly it is a thank you.<ref name="x"/>
