It was released on January 22, 2019, as the second single from their [third self-titled album](/source/American_Football_(2019_album)).[1] The track features Mike Kinsella and [Paramore](/source/Paramore) vocalist [Hayley Williams](/source/Hayley_Williams)[1] alternating verses of a narrative. This collaboration marks a radical change in the band's sound from their [mathy emo roots](/source/American_Football_(1999_album)) to a dreamier, more atmospheric sound with lyrical maturation[2][3] and noticeably refined production quality.[4] The song has received critical acclaim[5][6] and is considered an album highlight.
